TianJin Master undertook this project to build a low-temperature cold storage facility for the company. This facility addresses the storage needs of food raw materials and finished products, addressing the low space utilization, inefficient loading and unloading, and difficult coordinated temperature control management of traditional cold storage. The system utilizes a floor-to-ceiling beam shelving system.
Racking and Storage Design
The shelving system utilizes horizontal beam shelving, with a 12-story vertical layout for cargo storage, designed for seamless integration with a cold storage inventory management system. This system precisely accommodates food pallets (1000mm wide, 1200mm deep, and 1600mm thick, weighing 1000kg per pallet), ensuring safe food storage within the cold storage and meeting cargo handling requirements in low-temperature environments.
Automated Equipment Configuration
Eight low-temperature-resistant stacker cranes are equipped to withstand the cold storage environment. They automatically load and unload food and transfer it between floors, precisely aligned with the shelving rails.
A total of 13,376 storage spaces optimize the cold storage space layout and facilitate categorized and temperature-controlled food storage.
The automated warehouse provides precise temperature control, reduces food loss, and the automated system enables real-time visualization of food inventory. Combined with temperature and humidity monitoring, it provides data for production scheduling and cold chain traceability, ensuring food storage quality and supply chain efficiency.
